Building Resilience

With the rising awareness of climate change impacts, building climate resilience has become a major focus of all levels of government as well as private business and residents. The key focus of climate resilience efforts is to address the vulnerabilities that communities face with regard to the consequences of climate change. Currently, climate resilience efforts encompass social, economic, technological, and political strategies that are being implemented on multiple scales. From local community action to global treaties, building climate resilience is becoming a priority in Rhode Island.
